BASEMENT CINEMA CONVERSIONS

This basement was originally completely unused and was going to waste whilst offering great potential for creating a home cinema conversion and much more besides.

Originally this basement conversion was planned as a basement theatre conversion, but the largeness of the available space also allowed us to incorporate a basement games room together with a bar.

It incorporates many interior design features that help to both optimise the available space and create a feeling of spaciousness.

The creative use of a stylish recessed ceiling lattice with built-in lighting help to give the basement home cinema conversion the impression of having natural skylights.

Stylish columns separate the cinema area from the remainder of this basement cinema conversion. Rich and vibrant wall colours lend depth to the room, creating a sumptuous feeling of spaciousness.

Uplights on the walls were used to create a subdued lighting effect when the main lights are switched off.

Mirrors behind the bar help to create the illusion of even more spaciousness.

The remainder of the basement was left open to accommodate a pool table.

The use pale soft pastel colours and carpeting helped to create an area in which it is a pleasure to relax.

I think you'll agre that this is no longer a basement space, but rather, a space to enjoy for hours on end.

The staircase was old and narrow and was redesigned in order to give the maximum amount of area to make this basement theatre conversion even more appealing.
